First steps on your VPS Print

Your welcome email has the server IP and root password. Setup is done within 24 hours of payment.

Connect

Run ssh root@YOUR-IP in a terminal (Windows PowerShell works too), or use PuTTY.

Secure it first

1. Change the root password: passwd
2. Install all updates.
3. Set up SSH keys and turn off password login.
4. Turn on a firewall and open only the ports you need.
