Malware protection and a hacked website Print

All hosting plans include Imunify360, which scans files and blocks common attacks.

If your site is hacked

  1. In cPanel, open Security > Imunify360 and run a scan. Clean or delete what it finds.
  2. Change your cPanel, WordPress admin, FTP and email passwords.
  3. Update WordPress, every plugin and every theme. Delete those you do not use.
  4. open a support ticket. We can help, or restore a clean backup if your plan has backups.

A site sending spam or attacking others may be suspended to protect other customers. We tell you why and help you get it back online.
